Started as a building service contracting firm, diversified into repairs and more intense property maintenance, pioneered integrated on-site management & maintenance contracts in the condominium association market, partnering with Dubin & Associates, who performed financial management for my clients. (Yes, that's how I "fell into" the industry - did any of us actually plan it???).
After presenting a few topics for CAI, and especially after teaching the Essentials Course at Reston Association, I realized that small copmmunity associations just didn't have access to a lot of the helpful stuff we typically share with our clients (one example - I shared a annual calendar sample with one board member & he thought I invented the wheel - whoa). So I opened up Association Bridge primarily to offer consulting services to community associations outside the ponds in which Zalco fishes, especially small & self-managed communities. I am a busy fellow and have to be ecomonical with my "spare" time, so I remain dedicated to providing practical, succinct, (read cost-effective) services such as board & volunteer training, project planning, strategic planning. operations reivews, and inspection services. I've also had the privilege to coach a couple of small businees owners.
